Mark Zuckerberg announced a crucial update to the avatars of the metaverse on Tuesday: they will now be given legs. The Meta CEO said that these avatars – and their legs – will first be seen in Horizon Worlds, and later across Meta's apps. "Everyone has been waiting for this," said Zuckerberg's elevated avatar at yesterday's Meta Connect developer event. "But seriously, legs are hard, which is why other virtual reality systems don’t have them either".
