It doesn’t get much weirder than it did this past week on Twitter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, led by a legendary performance by LeBron James, came back from a 3-1 deficit to win their first NBA title in franchise history. Naturally fans went ballistic. So much so that shortly after the team’s victory, a rumor began swirling that fans had stolen a firetruck from the Cleveland Police Department. The CPD posted this tweet to put that rumor to rest, while also advising people they’d prefer if the masses stayed off their fire trucks.

Queen Elizabeth II fired up her Twitter fingers for the second time in history following her Official Birthday to politely thank everyone for celebrating her. She was as appreciative of people’s “digital messages of goodwill” as we were for her giving us the term “digital messages of goodwill.” Her Majesty also sported a slick green screen birthday outfit, which, unsurprisingly, the internet was also rather fond of.

Hmmm...LeBron’s got on quite the outfit. But that’s none of my business. King James deboarded his flight in Cleveland, fresh off an NBA Finals Game 7 victory against the Golden State Warriors, wearing an ‘Ultimate Warrior’ t-shirt and Kermit sipping tea hat. The getup will soon assume its proper place in the Shade-Throwing Hall Fame of Museum.

T’was the tweet heard round the world. In an attempt to start a meme dialogue with their Twitter followers, Good Morning Americareferred to Kermit the Frog as Tea Lizard. Naturally this presumed flub led to relentless mockery from all directions; however, everyone trolling GMA’s Twitter soon learned perhaps they were the ones being trolled, as both Tea Lizard and smockin are legitimate memes crafted by user @trillballins. TL;DR: Good Morning America’s not bad at memes, they’re better than everyone at memes.

Fly home, sweet prince. In an effort to lead a better life, free of children jumping on it, this bounce house made a dramatic escape to the skies that unfortunately ended in tragedy. May it now rest peacefully in the great bounce house in the sky.

This just in folks, the ballgirl has been substituted in for the remainder of the game. Pittsburgh Pirates ball-girl Olivia does an outfielder’s job and then some, catching a wild foul ball that hopped off of both a tarp and fence, with her bare hand.

Cleveland Cavaliers fan Steve Cespedes had the distinct pleasure of sitting courtside next to Jay Z and Beyonce during Game 7 of the NBA Finals. During the game, Huffington Post Senior Editor caught this image of Queen Bey side-eying Cespedes, and wrote and tweeted article entitled, “Never Look Beyonce in the Eyes you Fool.” Cespedes saw the article and showed it to Beyonce, who thought it would be pretty funny to fire back at The Huffington Post with a photo of their own.

Tyler, the Creator tweeted this general message of positivity and inspiration to his over three million Twitter followers, capping it with a very specific shout out to Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. Though Musk doesn’t follow Tyler, he responded to the tweet with a simple “Thanks Tyler.” Tyler responded back with “NO THANK YOU, KEEP PUSHING AND GOING AND TRYING THINGS.” It just doesn’t get much better than that.

Mighty No. 9, a side-scrolling platformer video game from Mega Man lead illustrator Keiji Inafune and an “all-star team” of developers behind the Mega Man games, finally launched this week after significant delays, $3 million in Kickstarter funding and three years of Kickstarter updates. Unfortunately after all that, people found the game to be pretty disappointing. Sad, right? Well even more so when Sonic the Hedgehog out of nowhere sh*ts on the whole thing. If even Sonic doesn’t support you, you truly have nothing left. After all, it's been a very long time since the last well-received blue hedgehog game.
